Fascinating. Heavy on history, so not light reading. important stories of migration of peoples and melding of ideas, the impact of Hinduism and Buddhism, significant trade routes, all in an area/region that history is overlooked and under studied in the West.

Great book. An interesting and fresh perspective on Ernest Hemingway from the first of his four wives.

Continued cool stories (kilimanjaro, etc), some a little off the deep end (psychics, body energy, etc).
