Omg, I think I need to reread the first book 😆

I had to put this down at chapter 27 for the night because I was not mentally equipped to deal with the arrival of That Character 😆

Enjoying this book so far even though the author is trying to pass a 25yo woman off as 17.

On a personal note, bit concerned one of the MCs is clearly in a romantic relationship with someone other than who the book blurb says she's going to fall in love with. Cheaters are a big turn off for me and I don't see another way this will pan out with how things are set up atm.

Keeping my interest, but so far feeling like a lot could have been left out

So the thing has happened which has me excited for the rest of the book because I thought [spoiler] was going to go on for a lot longer and then end in disaster~

Getting into it~ At first I was kinda like "... Oh, rich people problems XD" but now it's getting interesting (although this really bad fake flirting might cause me physical injury from cringing if it continues much longer XDDD)

This book is ripping my heart right out of my body. The despair. THE DESPAIR 🤣🤣

Oooh, stuff's starting to go down :D Up until this point it was kinda okay with being stuck in a head half occupied with sex (which I'm accepting as the mc is an allo teenager) and the reenactment of the Cold War polarized to a near comical degree with there being exactly 2 countries left on Earth.... BUT NOW. Now it's getting creepy :DDD

"She's not like other girls" is literally on the page 🤣 Adorable so far, though~

Listen, listen... I don't care if the MC is 18 now. It's hard enough getting past the second love interest having met her when she was 14 and he was at least 20. Don't drop in an intimate sexual tension scene followed immediately by the guy fondly telling her that she'd still be in high school right now if the world hadn't ended wtf

Thank god he's obviously the second guy and the real love interest is her age x.x

Oh god, this is turning into a struggle.

They say people don't have to fear death anymore, but it seems more present and terrifying than ever? It went from, "Oh I'll probably live to about this age and die of cancer or something" to "The way I will die will be because of one of these murderers that live among and it can happen at any time for any reason."

Stayed up so late last night reading this that I fell asleep and have to reread several pages xD

Amusing so far, but someone going in blind would have no idea what this story is about yet. This has been on my tbr so long I only remember that a vampire is involved somehow and *I* barely even know what's going on. Got the makings of a triangle, but are they vampires? Or something else? It's everyone a something? Wuthering Heights made an appearance so is she going for a Bella Swan angle? I don't know.
