10 pages. Moldering Venice of 18th century, Casanova's childhood, teachers, feuds with Razetta & Malipiero. Tough read, but it has sparked my interest in the 1987 movie.

Pretty dumb book for an experienced programmer. But I like reading some gems again so that I can tell others e.g. Boy Scout's rule :)

This became way too scientific. Might quit this one.

Start wasn't really good. Bit of emphatic or sententious verbiage.

I am really struggling to read this one. Every page needs more time than regular books.

Just started. Pretty basic stuff, but good to remember. Can skim at a good pace.

Woah, the first 2 chapters blew my mind. Right on the money to give an overview what the book is all about. The contemporary leaders and historical figures' stories are worth noting.

I am finding Arnold's journey in Hollywood bit boring now. The desire to learn and improve by finding mentors/experts seems like what worked for him. He shared some great short memories so far!

Yup, I see a lot of hard work Arnold put in. Lots of good investments especially on education. Very lucky again to have mentors in business, body building, real estate and learning English. Woah!

Lot of examples are contrived. Malden Mills may not be good example here, clearly it filed for bankruptcy twice and was sold at a loss. Since the author is a pastor I see a lot of Christian clichés which made the chapter dull. Zero points if this is really the key to maximum productivity.

Bit sleepy. English is bit old (written in 1929). But, I like how Bolitho is fascinated by adventure.

I grew up watching Arnold's movies and seeing his posters on the walls (my dad put them). Now learning how he got started from a small village in Austria, military life and bodybuilding. It's amazing how he found great mentors!
