i'm liking this book so much, except for few pages, which were way too descriptive. Especially love the way the author decided to incorporate History and its impact in the regular lives of people, in this case specifically of Ahmed's. anyways the ending's going to be sad af, i can sense it.

Priya is reading The God of Small Things

one of the most beautiful books I've ever read, Arundhati Roy's writing has certain depth and emotions, it leaves you with a sense of emptiness when you finish the book. You just wish it could have ended in a different way 😭 I don't think any of the authors' I've ever read has been able to leave this kind of emotional impact on me. I'll be reading more from her!
I absolutely recommend this book!!
