Read 4/12 stories. Picked up a Hindi author after a long time. Had fun raiding mother's closet. Her writing style is quite interesting and experimental. Stories from different POVs. Although her outlooks seem pessimistic cynical at times. Gearing up to read "Aapka Bunty"

1- Context of an individual (including larger sociopolitical env) tends to shape the mindset towards money (reminded me of scarcity, thx shivangi)
2 - Risk and Loss - Fundamental attribution error, how human cognition often discounts nuances
3 - Never enough; upward comparison has no end. Define enough for yourself
4 - Role of compounding (metaphor of the 4 ice ages)

Have read only 4 chapters yet. Written in a beautiful and very accessible language is the tale of life on Earth. I'd always wondered about the physiology of evolution and how we have we studied it. This book makes the science behind it quite palatable.

Excellent introduction to anxiety! Great for psychoeducation.
