I am not body shaming, or fat shaming, or whatever, but I am really confused since the main character says on pg 40 that she is 5’11” and weighs 275 pounds and has recently worn a size 14. I am 5’7”, 145 pounds and wear between a size 12 -14. Is this a typo? Did they mean 175 pounds? My husband is 6’3”and weighs 20 pounds less than that and is overweight. I don’t get it.The numbers don’t make sense.

I received this book as an advanced readers, edition, partly because it was on my to read list. I did not know that it was a series following the main character, EddieFlynn. I read the book you kill for me. I’ll kill for you and really enjoyed it. I put this book aside for now, but I am enjoying it and I will go back to it because I just received a pile of books that I have requested from the library.

Wow! Am I really that old? I kept reading and rereading all of the parts about. Sam and kept wondering who the other child was because everything was they/them/their and I’m thinking I thought she only had one child. And then it hit me boom! They/them!Do parents really use these pronouns from the start? Live and learn.

This book since it contains 600 pages and I bought it because I knew I could never finish it in time from the library will be read often on when I read other books. So far, I am not impressed.

I am only on page 60 of this book and I’m struggling a little bit because I’m trying to figure out why I requested a book that is so far out of my comfort zone. Although the writing is interesting, and I’m trying to follow along, but I am not a heavy metal expert, so it is a little difficult. On a personal note, we are expecting a snowstorm here in New Jersey.So,📚🍦🍨

Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh. This book is going to take me a while to finish because I am savoring Avery word. I have been laughing out loud. I love it. I just wish there was a Gunkle around when I was little, but then I remembered, any Gunkel I might’ve had would have been in a closet.

The plot is interesting, but the POV of the writing is very confusing. ESP dialogue ! First person? Third person?

Up to this point I’ve enjoyed the idea of a remake of a horror film but the most confusing and irritating part is who is writing this story? Is it Laura then the dialogue should say I said this or that. Is a narrator? Then the dialogue should always have the person’s name. It is very confusing.I am having a hard time following the dialogues.

I’m enjoying the book/the story, but the editing is so bad that I’m really not sure what POV/who is telling the story. Sometimes the dialogue says she, then it says Laura, then it says Amy, then it says I. It gets really confusing. Is Laura telling the story? Then it would be I for the dialogue. Help me!

If I will reach the finish line on this book. After reading about 20 pages of a mother, not sure if millennial or Gen X or whatever trying to get her toddler to eat other foods besides macaroni and cheese I had about had it. That is not the way I taught my children to eat, or the way my children taught my grandchildren. to analyze every single bit of child rearing, oh my God.

Good writing. But I can’t say that it is enjoyable due to the subject matter.

I just realized I read this book last year. Obviously it was mostly forgettable

I think I’ve figured out the mystery, but still enjoying it we’ll see if I am right 🤷‍♂️

Loving this book I am devouring it but also worrying about finishing it because I don’t want it to end.the only drawback I would give it right now is that when you’re reading the found books the italic type is so small and so hard to read that I have to have a bright light. I hope I hope hope hope hope that by the end of the book it’s not like two ships passing in the night.

I love love love this book. 1st time I could say this in a long time I love 630, I love Elizabeth, I love Mad,and of course I loved Evans. More to come , but I wish this wasn’t a debut novel. I would love to read some of her other books. It’s funny,it’s witty., It’s meaningful. It is right up my alley.

I will give this book a few more chapters, then it is going into the DNF pile for donation.

Sorry, but I could not finish this book

I was getting sort of impatient to see what happened at the "barbecue" now that I know I think I can figure out the rest of the mystery. We'll see!!

Love Rainbow Rowell. Her characters are wonderful. Dialogue knocks me out. Not really a fan of the Simon / Baz component. But loved, loved. loved Levi. Wish I could meet someone like that in real life. Is there anyone like that in real life??

Not sure I am going to finish this book. To me, it is just dragging. I have started skimming pages but am still getting impatient for other books waiting.

Hmmm, story line is good but writing is pretty mediocre up to this point.

Very interesting book. Highly detailed but definitely not boring

I took a break from this book because some of the printing is so small it was giving me a headache. I will get back to it and see if it is worth it.

Not very invested in plot & characters. Hmm...

Good read, quick. Jumps around a bit too much at times.
