Suuri hetki, aloitan Liveship Traders -trilogian uudelleenluvun. Edellinen, ensimmäinen kerta oli joululomalla 2005.

Tsekkasin juuri Tähtivaeltajan arvion, eikä se ollut mairitteleva. Mä kuitenkin tykkään! Runollinen, lihallinen, jännittävä... jopa rujolla panosanastolla on musta paikkansa.

Miellyttävä ongelma: olla en-voi-laskea-tätä-käsistäni -koukussa 1000-sivuiseen kirjanjärkäleeseen.

Other Thieves' World books have been very enjoyable. I have great expectations.

So many have recommended this, that I'm ready to be positively surprised.

I thought reading this in my third language, Swedish, would shelter me from the lame narration, and the more and more annoying main characters, but it didn't. The translation is riddled with little typos that even I can spot. I will go on for a while, though - the milieu is, fascinating as ever.
