That's a year full of dissapointments

DNF at 60%

Should I finish all the books I have already started? I guess so. Did I buy a new book that is almost 1k pages long? Yes, indeed.

I will finish it but I already moved to a new book <3

I am intrigued! I wanna know more. The magic system seems interesting, although I am not sure if it doesn't make everything too easy

I expected a romance. however somehow it feels forced, like the author in the middle of the writing realised that there supposed to be feelings between the characters. I didn't feel any tension, any hidden glances. I can't say that there isn't any chemistry now between them but at the beginning there was just growing friendship. I don't think the mc even had a crush on the male character till someone suggested it.

It came to my attention that this book is supposed to be the next IT book among romantasy girlies. I cannot way to see why. I dont have high expectations, I just push away my responsibilities

I am very slowly getting into it. Still a bit scared that I won't like it. The world building is confusing - I am still wondering how advanced is the society... There are mentions of cinema, journalists, pods that for me are similar to ipads... So i can assume it is fairly advanced but the technology is not taking over the world like it is happening in real life.

If I ever finish it, it will be a great success.

I need to get back to this book.

I can understand why for some the way this book was written is not appleaing but oh dear it is fairly unique among romantasy and I am very interested why their world is in such state.

I didnt need to wonder for long...
