Just added my 1,000th book to my “Read” shelf. Sure, there are a lot of comics in there, but still. Holy shit.

Dense Targaryen goodness written with the authority of history, full of those twisted little dramas that GRRM does so well. Those dismissing this because it’s “not Winds of Winter” are doing themselves a disservice. Can’t wait for subsequent volumes.
