Just finished The Courtyard and the attention to detail is staggering, both in the story and art. I caught things that I never noticed the first two reads. Third time’s the charm?

Losing a good bookmark that you’ve had for years is a crazy feeling. Sometimes they turn up again ... sometimes they don’t 😔😔😔

It's impossible for me to fully express how profound and illuminating this book has been so far. Its depth is astounding. I'm only on the 4th Arcanum, but it's been apparent since about page 8 that my perspective on Christianity and esotericism has been impacted on a fundamental level. It is no exaggeration to say that this is literally the greatest book I've ever read. I seriously doubt I'll ever stop studying it

Please don't tell me you like reading books, then I go to your crib and see straight John Grisham, David Baldacci, James Patterson, and Tom Clancy on the shelves. Smh lmao.

I hit a pretty dry spot a while ago, so I’m struggling to get through this one. It was engaging at first, but it’s really antiquated and now clearly showing. Regardie also loves to make weighty, authoritative claims and draw very solid lines in the sand, which is sigh-inducing to say the least 😕

Well, life calls. A new job and furthering my education means I'll have a lot less time to read than I anticipated this year, but I'm still challenging myself to read both widely and consistently in 2019!

This is so clear and funny so far. DuQuette's take on the Ark of the Covenant blew my mind. I've never heard that interpretation before in my life, but it makes so much sense. Well, on to learning Hebrew!
