realistically i should dnf the gilded wolves and to the lighthouse but im still very mildly interested in the gilded wolves and i dont wanna give up on to the lighthouse so soon… i curse my inability to dnf

the more i read the more impressed i get with the show… they turned this mess into something that is actually good

started the show so i decided to try the book on the bus and… well… it certainly is a book!

on god what da hell is mr ramsey on about 80% of the time

taking my sweet time with this cause i forgot how difficult woolf’s writing is for my adhd brain but then she’ll write something like “his eyes, glazed with emotion, defiant with tragic intensity, met theirs for a second, and trembled on the verge or recognition” and i know i have to push through

not even my academic responsibilities can keep me away from this book holy shit im eating it up… only not finishing it tonight cause i need to wake up at 6 am tomorrow and i still have some small semblance of self love but trust that i’ll finish it tomorrow

why did we spend almost 50 pages on this random ass side quest that seemingly has no purpose for the main plot… like idgaf… and barely anything happened anyways 😭 also idk for the life of me what stevie sees in david he’s annoying asf but he breathes and she gets hot and bothered girl STAND UP!!!!!! romance was simply not needed in this book

going back to this series after years because i need to work on my physical tbr and im always down for a dual timeline boarding school murder mystery story 🙂‍↕️
