I am amazed that he went through everything and lived to tell his story. It sounds just like Chandler.

It is a sad story. I can almost hear Chandler saying some of the parts.

I am enjoying this book. Reading it got school.

Just started this for a school Battle of the Books challenge.

I truly loved reading this book. This piece of historical fiction was filled with passionate characters, vividly described places and a few twists.

It is a wonderful story.

I bought this on a trip to Winnipeg. I cannot walk into MacNally Robinson without buying a book. I love historical fiction. The chapters are alternating between 2 women who are telling the story.

We have had a busy term at school and have put this on a pause until after Spring Break. I will finish it on my holiday.

I am reading this with my school leadership team. I am learning new things all of the time.

Lots of encouragement in this book. It is for a leadership book club at my school.

I need time to finish this book. Inspiring!

Reading this before school starts. I have not read a full book ever. I hope to understand why the students I teach love his character so much.

Almost done. What an entertaining book to read.
