I’m not ready 😩 also I know book first fans hate on the movie for not doing the freezing spell on Harry, but I like both ways it goes — dumbledore not doing a freezing spell in the movie shows just how implicitly Harry trusts him and obeys him (and makes the deathly hallows arc even better). Freezing Harry is still great tho bc it shows how well dumbledore knows Harry

I still think Harry x Ginny is super rushed and out of nowhere. They never spend any alone time together and now suddenly they do? Suddenly she’s just hanging out with them all as if she were part of the trio the whole time? Yes fine they’re better than they were in the movies, but that was a very low bar, so it’s just marginally better.

Aw I was looking forward to the Lily/fish slughorn memory, but it’s a movie only thing 😔 that really would’ve made this scene more beautiful
