sat here reading this while eating a cheese toastie at the pub while some man sings caledonia

god is real but like not in a christian or catholic sense

this part of the book is just punch after punch to the gut but I refuse to run away from the trauma from my dad’s generation & further back. I must face it and release it to transform it.

put down this book midway through the poison girl monologue, went to a rave over the weekend with my friends and three of them got roofied (luckily they’re all safe & in good health), and coming back to the poison girl monologue hits differently….

no i actually think i’m a misandrist lol

maybe it’s because i had to parent my mom starting at age 7 when she lost her parents… or maybe it’s because my brother and i have a deep friendship and i have never felt these feelings towards him & vice versa? but this book is so frustrating!!!? or maybe it’s me as a watching male characters stumble through trauma? idk man
