Hard sci-fi! Loved it

I'm really enjoying this book, I normally read sci-fi but the characters in this book that I got for free with prime reading are really believable and I am really enjoying the journey the main character is going through. Very pleased I had got it

I had to abandon it because it read like Tenko with sweaty men, so far I haven't seen any sci-fi

I'm not seeing anything particularly sci-fi about this book yet, it reads like it was based on a Japanese prisoner of war camp in World War II just with different creatures. it reads well though so I will stick with it for a bit more and see where it goes

I'm really enjoying this book and the way the characters talk to each other is quite humorous sometimes

I don't know what happened but it seems like the authors writing has improved dramatically. The book is less linear and has multiple story arcs, I'm enjoying it

Loving how this has started, seems it's a real upgrade from the previous book. Nice to see some familiar characters

I've been really enjoying reading it and I just had my first wow moment from a book for a long time. Seeing the date at the beginning of each chapter is important and I've really started enjoying the book more now that I start the chapter knowing if it was before or after the previous one and by how much.

really good character development and high octane action
