I am IMMEDIATELY a Charles de Lint fan.

After Vampire Academy, it is so nice to have a female lead that is not only strong and witty but INTELLIGENT.

I also am loving the conversational tone. 10/10 so far!

Oh no! This adult who has turned me down twice might start dating another adult instead of falling in love with me, a teenager and his student!

I could not care less about this. Am I supposed to feel bad for Rose? I don't. Maybe it's because I've never had a crush on someone SIX YEARS older than me, but I just like, I really don't want her dating Dimitri. Like, ick!

Alright, so I don't care if Rose ends up with Dimitri in book like 4 or 5 or something, but right now, the age gap and the student aspect is really not for me. Like, can we at least date Mason for a year and a half or so. Bestie (Rose) is not even old enough to consent to this. Plus! We like Mason! Mason is cool and nice! Date Mason! I am begging!

Instead of "Prologue" it should have been called "Recap".
