J.M. Robison is on page 59 of 272 of The Dumbest Generation: How the Digital Age Stupefies Young Americans and Jeopardizes Our Future (Or, Don't Trust Anyone Under 30)
"A sinister corollary to the cognitive benefit?" Really, Mark Bauerlein? This author is more impressed with his own inflated diction than he is about the content he's trying to prove.

I DNF'd. I was about halfway through. I loved the first book, but this one reached a point where I got bored because nothing was happening. I can't do slow burner books anymore. Maybe I'll try again later.

J.M. Robison is on page 287 of 688 of The Bone Labyrinth (Sigma Force, #11)
Author did not research guns - even though he uses them everywhere in this book - because his reference to "smoking assault rifle" is not a thing. Rifles don't smoke. And "AR" does not stand for Assault Rifle. It stands for "Armarlite Rifle", which is the company who made the platform.

Liking this so far. Not even daunted by the size. I feel as if every word belongs. No fluff.

Losing interest in this book. I'm skimming all the large paragraphs of description just to get through it because I DO want to know how it ends, though, I don't have a lot of hope that the ending will be interesting.

Oh my goodness! This book is so beautiful. Love the underwater world. So fresh and different from other books told above ground.

Reading "Me, Earl, and the Dying Girl" because it's funny and I need to learn how to be funny so I can write this humorous character of mine.

I stopped reading Sheepfarmers Daughter by page 180. Not going to give a review on it because it was just not a book I was interested in. I like plot-based books and this book appeared to be a character-based book. Not a fan.

I wish books had ratings the same way movies do. I hate getting halfway into a book and finding something that goes against my morals. If I had known about it, I wouldn't have read it.
