I’m trying to figure out this mystery. I don’t think Avery is related to any of the Hawthorne’s but I think her mom had something to do with Tobias and that he maybe promised her to look out for Avery. I also feel like this whole book takes place in two different timelines¿ Like, Avery talks normal while the Hawthornes speaks so foreign. Like, old timey. I get they’re rich but you’re still millennials lol

I think Sylvia is manipulative. She makes Freddy out to be this horrible person when SHE’S the one that pushed HIM away. She’s asking him to leave then getting upset when he does. Saying he abandoned her? Like girl….Honestly, Freddy deserves better than her. And also I don’t understand how she’s reading Victoria’s diary and doesn’t see ANY red flags? LIKE, FREAKING TOOTHPASTE?! COME ON NOW!

My theory is that Polly & Hank had a child but they passed away from a deadly sickness which kept Polly working at home and not returning to nursing because she couldn’t bear it…and that maybe Hank wants to keep Tegan’s baby…I dunno yall!

So we just met Frank Marino. I’m suspecting she has him kidnap these girls her son ends up liking I’m not sure. With Freida you never know..
