I have such a morbid curiosity about how this series is going to continue, I simply can't get off the train

This book is bad, and if I wasn't trying to avoid reading Shrek smut, I would've DNF'd it.

It's good and interesting, but I think it needs a subtitle change. I think "Fen Big & Swamp: An Anthropogenic History" would be more fitting.

Really intriguing so far, I like the structure of the story. So far none of the fatigued tropes that you may encounter in old sci-fi like this.

I was starting to think, "Huh this is pretty slow", but the wheels are starting to turn

Pretty good so far, it's developing differently than I thought it would but still intriguing.

So far, it's like a sci-fi fantasy mishmash which is intriguing, enjoying it!

So far this is very "popcorn" sci-fi, but I'm waiting for it to turn on its head.
