Reading the Hays translation this time. (Prompted by hearing Shane Parrish speak very highly of this particular translation on The Knowledge Project, one of my favourite podcasts.) Loving it so far.

My god, this book. Very, very glad I picked it up. It's illuminating a lot of shameful long-standing gaps in my general understanding of the world (and why so much of it is so relentlessly awful). Fascinating, if frequently bleak/horrifying. An excellent and worthwhile read.

Re-reading in preparation for the upcoming adaption. Super excited by the casting news! :D

Getting a lot out of this one.

Only a few chapters in, but I have a feeling this is going to be a very worthwhile read...
