Frank Herbert had some archaic thoughts about homosexuality that I choose to gloss over while reading this book. At this point it is apparent that this is a philosophical work on various subjects, disguised as a sci-fi novel with relatively intriguing plot. For the most part, these philosophical musings are moderately interesting.
