This chapter is currently talking about needing clarity not certainty, which feels very important whether or not you are about to retire. “Not all uncertainty requires action” which I like the sound of; however, I believe it is important to do what you can when you can in any circumstance. So I’m not sure how much I agree with this sentiment. “Start by identifying what you can influence”

… this book is making me think that there are some kinks that fully are not real?!? This book is so uncomfortable and weird but also hilarious?

It’s calmed down a bit and given explanations but the ordering of this book didn’t feel made with the audience in mind and how scary the idea of retirement and supporting yourself without a job is.

Honestly if I were reading this book in my retirement age it would be freaking me out right about now. It’s telling me the last decade is more important than my first 30 years of life. Which is quite calming honestly as a 26 year old just starting to become financially literate but this book would probably make me have a panic attack if I were about to retire.

I am 10% of the way through this book and it has just gone over what we will be talking about in the book so far and I am honestly feeling very frustrated with it.
