I'm starting to feel like Ahmed is not really married. I went back and read the part where we found out he was married, and what if he was just being his sarcastic, joking self in response to Aaliyah overreacting to the ring he was wearing? What if the ring means something else? Or he only wears the ring and says he's married as an easy out when customers flirt with him? Idk, something about his behavior is 🤔

Enjoying this book so far. The story is moving along at a nice pace.

The book got good at the end, but I'm glad it's over. All of the characters in this book are insufferable.

I just don't get why she's doing this... like why is she trying to be so manipulative and conniving. No offense but the author doesn't portray her as being smart enough to pull this off in a way that's going to work in her favor. I'm just imagining if I was watching her act this way on a reality show, I would think she was a self-centered liar TRYING TO BE but failing at being manipulative.

Is it just me, or is the main character extremely unlikable? It's making it hard to finish this book.

Ok, I'm over this. First of all, this is not the scam I saw coming. But second of all, they all see that what's going on makes no sense yet they're all still going along with it.

It was an ok read. Some cute moments, a couple of laughs here and there, and a good little plot twist at the beginning, but ultimately too repetitive for my liking. There were relatable parts in the story, but overall nothing too exciting.
