I just don't get why she's doing this... like why is she trying to be so manipulative and conniving. No offense but the author doesn't portray her as being smart enough to pull this off in a way that's going to work in her favor. I'm just imagining if I was watching her act this way on a reality show, I would think she was a self-centered liar TRYING TO BE but failing at being manipulative.

Is it just me, or is the main character extremely unlikable? It's making it hard to finish this book.

They haven't really talked about their crimes yet, and Eternity never said she was innocent, but I'm starting to believe she really could PURPOSELY kill somebody... and for something ridiculous like over food the way the author makes her seem so food obessed 🙄.

This chapter (11) got me writing a lot of thoughts in my notes.

I've read almost 120 pages of this book, and I still can't figure out the point 😩

Ok, I'm over this. First of all, this is not the scam I saw coming. But second of all, they all see that what's going on makes no sense yet they're all still going along with it.

This Dr. Umar/Dr. Sebi wannabe ass jailbird is getting on my nerves!

Vanessa girl please! You could say, "I like to jump off bridges." She gon say, "Oh my brother loves to jump off bridges too... matter fact he already jumped off the highest bridge in the world."

Vanessa inserting her brother in every conversation is already getting on my nerves. I'm already giving both of them the side eye 😒.

It was an ok read. Some cute moments, a couple of laughs here and there, and a good little plot twist at the beginning, but ultimately too repetitive for my liking. There were relatable parts in the story, but overall nothing too exciting.

And it was at this moment I was about to DNF this book because that was just too ridiculous for me, BUT I'm glad I read to the next page, and she cleaned it up because what!? 😂

I didn't see that plot twist coming!

Vincent seemed like he was very lost in life and that this situation gave him the opportunity to mature and find something within himself that he wouldn't have found otherwise because like she said the conveniences of modern life/society don't give any of us the opportunity to do so.
