The earlier chapters was quite confusing because it felt like it kept jumping POVs, but now it's more consistent with Clary's POV.

The writing of this is sooo good. For someone who is not invested and does not know anything about their royal family, I am very compelled. Audiobook is really well-delivered too. I liked that it has short chapters too.

This book gives off some vibes of Lovely War maybe because of war and letter writing and pain

The audiobook is nice except for some times where there are weird abrupt cuts in the narration and it feels off

I almost couldnt hit pause honestly but good thing I needed to message someone and had to focus so now I am resisting the urge to hit play again on the audiobook
