It's so easy to pick up and read and it's so soo good

Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes was harder for me to read.

This me prepping in time for the movie on November 🙈

I feel pain 😭

So far, easy and exciting read

Writing is so good, I got some good quotes

"Who you were is always some by-product of who you weren't. It meant absorbing the basic parameters of one’s identity, knowing by instinct who you were, which was forever a byproduct of who you weren’t."

"She’s gone. No, she’s hiding. She’s dead. No, she’s playing dead." - this broke me 😭

The earlier chapters was quite confusing because it felt like it kept jumping POVs, but now it's more consistent with Clary's POV.

Re-reading this for the third time but I can't seem to remember much hahahah

Finally getting closer to them together but also character development

I don't know if it's just me but I'm not that hooked.

The writing of this is sooo good. For someone who is not invested and does not know anything about their royal family, I am very compelled. Audiobook is really well-delivered too. I liked that it has short chapters too.

Some quotes:

The past is never dead. It's not even past. BrainyQuote com

Who you were is forever a byproduct of who you weren't.

She’s gone. No, she’s hiding. She’s dead. No, she’s playing dead.

This is fun,it does feel a bit like Fourth Wing and I am loving it

This is kinda stressing me out 😭

Just reading the blurb amuses me and makes me laugh already!

Enjoying it!

It's getting a little better

It's just okay, not too hard to read but I'm also not too invested yet

Vera is too funny pls 😂

It's actually good and compelling

This is so good Ive already cried 😭

OMG

Honestly, really enjoying this

Screamiiing i'm so kiliggg
