My husband and I are reading this together and he said to me "does ANYTHING good happen to Fitz in this book?!" And if that doesn't describe this book so far I don't know what does. Fascinating read so far! But poor Fitz....

I am sad to report that I'm not enjoying this book anywhere near as much as the previous installments. For the first third it feels like nothing happens, and then even when things happen there are whole story lines that I just don't care about? When the plot switches to those characters I find myself pausing the book.

I'm determined to finish this, but not one of my faves... Quite disappointing...
