I love Octavia's writing and her style but I am not fully aware of the theme of the overarching story yet. It was a really interesting premise with the aliens and how they function but I was constantly so frustrated with the other human characters in the latter half of the book (which I'm sure was the point). I am excited to continue after a short break with some other books:)
