So far, so good. I'm intrigued about how much Percy seems to have grown up in just six months but I am really glad to see so much being developed so quickly here. It feels simultaneously plot advancing and filler. Loved the DC stuff.

So far, it's definitely been solid as a spooky suspense/horror novel for the season. There's set ups and payoffs and I'm enjoying piecing things together bit by bit. It's definitely making me realize I probably have a favorite genre - suspense/mystery. Horror doesn't always have to go in with that and I'm grateful that much of the violence has thus far been left to the imagination. Looking forward to finishing it.
