This book is hard to read and hard to put down all at once. It is uncomfortable to read.

This book is making me uncomfortable for what’s to come. I’m sure someone is going to gang up on someone I already don’t like the way some of the characters are behaving. Lol

Thinking about skim reading and skipping to the end. Already put it down for 2 days as it’s disturbing. This guy has all the hallmarks of a narcissistic abuser and Hope is ignoring her gut feelings and all the red flags.
Yet I want to find out the ending… hope things don’t get too ugly ..,

Fascinating and enjoyable

I’m really enjoying this. I started reading in bed last night and for a moment thought I was reading Jackie Collins!!

Now onto the next generation of Tasmanian founding families in “Part 2”. If only this book wasn’t so big and so thick I would’ve finished it by now because I could take it with me to work!

Oh my goodness I can’t put this down. Now I’ve got to the part where tears are leaking out of my eyes!

Well, I’m less than a quarter of the way through and I am completely hooked… I think this is gonna be a Christmas break binge book!!!

Wow, this book is unputdownable. It’s way better than what the jacket makes you think. If I had known this was post apocalyptic fiction I would’ve read it straight away!!!

Finally, I am starting to get into this book. The concepts are starting to make sense.

Interesting and intriguing

Struggling with the flipping between locations. I suspect it’s a split timeline although that hasn’t been made entirely clear yet. So I’m not reading as fast as I normally would!

Finally on page 253 the gritty action starts, the bit that must inspire all the rave reviews! For a bit there I was in danger of abandoning the book or skipping to the end ...

Quite enjoying the smell of the diesel and the feel of the sun and wind on the face. The descriptive bits are spot on! Can't wait for them to get out into the open sea and let her rip.

Bed time reading with my tween.

Rather quite enjoying this refreshing perspective on busy modern life. Got a lot of snorts of laughter during the descriptions of different types of clutter!

Bit tedious to start with. Getting better as I get further in.

finding this Book hard going. Much too much extraneous detail in scenes at times. May be reduced to skimming paragraphs to keep going.

I am not in this Book's target audience that's for sure!
