this book has been calling me for years
that happens to me a lot: having a weird intuition about certain books
i finally have the feeling it's time to read it, and it feels nice to finally have that certainty

I had to stop reading this multiple times. First, because it was weirdly connected with my life and my fears. I stopped reading it for a month. Now I'm reading and underlying so many quotes and feeling ridiculously attacked by everything that is being done and said. I already laughed and almost cried, and I hate you, Karl Ove, for putting all of this into paper and for being so similar to myself
