Yeah, emily has definitely lost her mind

I’m convinced that emily is suffering a psychotic break or manic episode where she’s hallucinating Daisy. No one else seems to know her or see her but Emily. Supposedly she addresses the women, but only Emily speaks to her. And the things Emily says about herself and past also apply to Daisy

There’s literally no way. I don’t know what the reveal is going to be, but it’s not real. Probably a figment of her imagination

I really hate how they all threw Didion’s frustration back in her face. She finally confessed what was bothering her- about her mom and everything they all did. And they just turned it around on her like it was all her fault. Babe, Sammie, and Austin were already pretty shitty by that point and then Didion is supposed to forgive them all?? No.

So so good so far!! The writing is great and so readable but also smart. I love all of the Texas details and how recognizable everything is without name dropping or being a caricature
