Why is the supposed librarian main character unable to answer an interview question about what they can offer to library patrons that don’t read? Why does the main character think libraries are only about books? Why are all of the books mentioned (-1 title I recognized) fake? Why am I 25% through this book with little to no plot development?

Avalon leant me this book like hours ago and I’m already halfway done. I would finish it in one go but my eyes cannot stay open any longer !
