I literally wanted to cry when Pig got thrown off the roof. I’ve always had pit bulls growing up and they are my favorite kind of dog. I even had a white pit bull just like her except he was a boy. Pig has the cutest personality and I love her. I hope they find her and she’s okay!!!!

I love this book so much so far!!! The authors description of the Summit was so accurate it brought me back to when I had a very similar event for my job. I love getting introduced to new characters and their abilities and relationships etc. Overall loving the cozy vibes!

Soooo does Kaz not like touch and was freaked out by so many prisoners cooped up in the wagon because he has something like claustrophobia trauma from the firepox incident and his brother???

Also my brother passed away 2 years ago so reading this part was so heavy. I marked the pages for the first time in the entire book. Poor Kaz.
