This book is so good I'm already sad it's coming to an end.

Is this book getting worse, because I think it's getting worse.

I'm really enjoying the 3 storylines of this book and seeing the progression of how they all might tie together. So far I'm predicting a 4 or 5 star rating depending on how impressed I am with how the author ends the book.

I'm sensing an incoming 3 star rating. The main character needs a lot of growth. Stat. Also, we're 42% in and the fact that we're not past the "treasure hunt" portion of this book is getting annoying to be honest. Curious how the rest of this book is going to go.

Around the 65% mark this book started to pick back up. at this point, I feel like there's just enough time to tie up the remaining loose ends.

Okay the first 30ish percent of this book was really drawing me in but the midway point (40-55ish percent) really dragged. I'm also not loving the clipped dialogue and the way-too-many similarities to the Twilight saga. Thankfully things look like they may be picking up now that we're passing the midway lull. I'll keep plugging along. Hopefully I can make it to the end.

20% into this book and so far I don't care about the characters or the storyline yet. Not a good sign but I will try and stick it out until at least 30% before I decide if this one will go in the DNF pile.
