The only thing getting me through this book is mentally writing the scathing review I am going to leave when I am finished. What an utter heap of misogynistic, fear-mongering, machismo crap. I keep waiting for redemption, but every nugget of good is firmly sandwiched between two pieces of missed-the-mark, make-my-blood-boil shite. Gah! Someone better show up at book club to discuss this with me next week!
