This book is so lovely and I need life to stop getting my way of reading

I'm DNFing a lot lately but this just isn't working for me. I liked this heroine in book 1 but find her unbearable in this. I can also already tell I'm not gonna care for the ex plotline. So onto the next 🤷🏼‍♀️

Simon is the black cat character of my dreams. He's so fucking bitchy but also completely endearing. I love him

I'm not vibing with the humor, I don't love either character, and there is literally no chemistry. This isn't the year I have time or energy to push through books so just gonna call it and try something else 🤷🏼‍♀️

I still have a lot left but... is this one of my favorite books of the year? 👀🙏
