I’m struggling, especially given this is a children’s book. Cold blooded murder, mentions of beating children and starving them into submission, throwing rocks at stray dogs, and killing everyone who goes against a cruel and deceitful advisor while threatening all loyal subjects to kill their families if they don’t behave. Not much hope at this point at all.
Okay good conquering evil..any day now.
