Very enjoyable read!

Am not enjoying this book. More time spent talking about what biscuits are consumed than actually solving a crime. Likely the biscuit episodes are to include light humour but they are so frequent to become annoying. Doesn’t seem to be much substance to the mystery plot

I didn’t enjoy the dialogue in this one. Surely people didn’t call everyone “darling “. An interesting twist at the end.

It’s Ok But remue Chloe character is not believable. Surely background check when she applied for the police force would have picked up her questionable background and her association with the murder

This is not one of his better books. Very slow to get going

I find Jackman’s brother, James, rather insipid.

I gave up on this book. It is so slow to get going with the introduction of too many characters, none of which were very interesting. I found myself skipping over text to find some glimmer of an interesting story but alas.... "slow Horses" is just too slow for me
