I picked this up in response to a conversation I had with a friend and colleague about J.D. Vance's "Hillbilly Elegy" and the state of our country. So far, I like that it's written by persons with non-Tea Party points of view who hope to understand more about Tea Party roots and formation. I see also it's been updated since the 2016 election results. I don't believe I have that copy. :(

This is a somewhat dense but worthwhile read to date.

This book is written from a different characters perspective at each chapter. The author weaves together the story through a series of flashbacks and shifting points of view as the plot proceeds. The unraveling of histories sets the tone for progression in a way that would not happen were it told by a single narrator.
