This was a fast, compelling read. The writing style, which seems by turns oddly specific and other times intentionally vague, makes the storyline all the more intriguing. I never quite felt like I knew what was going on, but I did know I was creeped out.

So fantastic. "Damned" was a bit of a let down. So I had my reservations. But this was so perfectly Chuck. Outlandish, perverse, aggressive. But that thing.. That thing he does.. When everything comes into focus and you're left with this deep examination of the human condition. Our beautiful flaws exposed like the tender flesh under a boil. It takes my breath away when he does that. Loved it.
