I fear the possibility of excessively relating to this book.

I’m really enjoying this one, largely due to the fact that it shares the same cynical view of the world as I do.

This book repeatedly makes me feel things.

Rereading (yes, already) in anticipation of the release of the final volume in a couple weeks!

The focus on morality, ethics and philosophy in Qian Qiu is right up my alley… Plus, I’m enjoying the nicely detailed writing style and the focus on history. It’s a 180 from the more humorous series I just completed.

How does it go from devastatingly tragic to heartwarmingly adorable with the turn of a page?? If I suffer emotional imbalance after reading this, I know what to blame.

This book just took a very sharp emotional turn… where are my tissues?

Not sure if this is the best book to read when one is dealing with depression.

I noticed the name Lyndsay changes to Lindsay a couple times on page 68.

So far, this is an engrossing retelling of a lifelong favorite classic. I’m completely drawn in by Maria’s story.

So wondrously and fantastically written! I love these stories and am happy to read them again 10 years after the release of the Guardians film.
