Totally not in the demo, and as I am an ex-teacher, I have zero excuse for the reading, but this was pretty brilliant! I didn’t dig maybe the first fifty pages, and unlike some of its predecessors, I had no idea how it was gonna come together, but in different ways, I could relate to both protagonists. Now, given the shocker ending that blindsided me, I must at least re-skim for clues.

I am so excited to learn that this is set in the same world as Daisy Jones & the Six….now I’m waiting for her to catch an Evelyn Hugo flick on cable.

4.5/5…I’m gonna miss this series…and those meddling mystery kids!

Surprisingly just okay.

Read this working through Bits & Pieces..Solid three-sided Rot & Ruin tale.

4.5/5 From the brief first chapter which lays a lot of it out there (or does it?), to the brilliantly structured concluding pages,a compelling tale, that is as much about hockey (in its darker way), as Friday Night Lights is about football.

Now, on to the adaptation...

4.5/5...this was so fun...glad an algorithm somewhere pointed me at it. What a well-plotted tale of discovery, adventure, coming of age, and courage!
