I loved the Nurgle short (Order of the Fly by Josh Reynolds). So interesting to see the viewpoint of a “bad” faction. Most of the stormcast ones are kind of mid/generic fantasy for me… oh and The Dance of Skulls by David Annandale was wonderful!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ an utterly epic and delightful introduction to the world of Sigmar short stories.

Just finished “The Witch’s Wife” 🥺😫😭 I’m really enjoying these short stories. It’s one of the first horror books that I’ve found myself reacting viscerally.

Good but still rather depressing to read as a woman in the data science field.

I wonder if there has been any improvement in the 5 years since this was published. It’s such a good albeit depressing read.

This is like a slice of life read so far. Very cozy and no more boring Kerball scenes!

Listening to the audiobook. It’s pretty easy to follow and entertaining enough.

Oathbreakers: solid 3 stars. I like the characters, I liked the plot, it just seemed to take a long time to go anywhere and wasn’t memorable. Probably why I barely remember anything from my first read of it decades ago 😅

Finished Oathbound. Solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very realistic consequences of being a woman captive would def have a trigger warning in todays publishing environment. But it wasn’t graphic.

Was not expecting it to get so descriptively romantic 😅 will have to skip some scenes. I want to finish but the story is just getting really drawn out so I’m struggling to stay interested.

Enjoying this book so far! The main character, Emma, seems much older to me than she is supposed to be...but maybe that's because of the ghosts/former life self/precocious genius XD.

This is my first Stephen King book and I really am not a fan of his 'voice'. The story isn't too bad, but it is taking me forever to read because I'm annoyed by the style of writing.

This is hard to read. The pacing is a bit all over the place and I have no emotional investment I. The characters. Which is a shame because I loved the premise.

A great family audio book for road trips.
