Finally got this book after waiting three months!

This book is fantastic!! It takes place in Dublin Ireland during the Spanish Flu of 1918. The setting is a Maternity/Fever ward in a crowded hospital. The book covers three days and is so mesmerizing I had it finished before I knew it. Highly recommend it.

So, I was all excited to read this book. I was impressed with the foreword, however, every character that was introduced made me feel really sad. The book was touted as a comedy, but it was so sad I could not find one bit of humor.

Just got this from the library. Hopefully will read it tomorrow while I am recuperating.
