So excited for Christi's new release. I own her other book, Mystical Stitches. I have made many of the patterns from that book and made my own design! Endlessly enjoyable. This new release it just what im looking for -- cultivating my own designs!

This hardcover edition has beautiful photographs and clear illustraions for beginners and advanced embroiderers.

Really enjoying this so far. Great summary overview of these unspoken women's lives. The recognition they never got in life. Some of the writing is a little hyperbolic, but I am reminded of my history professor saying over and over again "journalists are not historians. They are there to tell a story, not relate facts relevant to the period in which came from."
