These inconsistencies are making me crazy. In this book, Ranger comments that he doesn’t think he could work for Vinnie. He used to work for Vinnie! That’s how he and Stephanie met! That’s a big detail to overlook. I guess I’m still not over the fact that a few books ago Stephanie was so distraught that she quit and the next book never dealt with the fallout.
