In general, this book is interesting, but I’m tempted to quit it anyway. It is disturbing being forced to see two fourteen year old boys offer themselves sexually to their “master” even if their “master” is a good man and refuses. I don’t want to have to picture it in the first place. I also don’t really like the use of word master either, even though they are in a master/apprentice relationship. Blah.

This book has very short chapters so far and I love it. I hope it continues through out the entirety of the novel. I might actually be able to finish reading something with my eyeballs for once if it does.
