I know it's really early to be reviewing but I already am enjoying this book a lot.

I think what I'm not enjoying about this book is some of the plot feels stretched out and complicated purely to lengthen the book, not to actually add anything to the story. There's conflict, but it feels very obviously formulaic. For some reason, I'm just not really sold on the Matilda and Vincent romance. They say they feel so connected and intensely for each other, but I'm not really feeling the chemistry? Idk.

Now that I'm getting used to the author's writing style, and things are starting to come together I'm enjoying this much more.

Such a fun winter read! Mystery, romance, grief, loss, maybe a treasure hunt, maybe murder-- fun!

I can't quite put my finger on it, but there is something about this book, maybe the writing style, that I'm not loving. It's still compelling to read because obviously I want to know what happened and why, but man I kind of just want to skip ahead too.

This is such a fun read. I need more books like this.

This has been a hilarious, surprisingly heartfelt smut-filled story. I love it lol.
