I have finally read passed the introductions, which is the first four chapters of the book, and I’m at the part where an event has taken place. It’s unfathomable what these people went though and defied orders to help out fellow citizens.

Not exactly light reading or anything near what I normally read. But I promised my aunt I would read it, so here I am. Just learned about most of the people involved and how they all tie-in together.

So far, I’m about 50 pages in, and this one is already better than the first one. She may redeem herself yet.

This book is filled with too much teenage drama BS. It’s definitely not a book I’m enjoying. But I have less than 100 pages to go, so why stop now? Every time I think I’m going to stop, something partially interesting happens, so I keep reading. Then it’s back to teenage bullshit. I almost don’t care what happens at this point.

So far, I’m a bit unimpressed with this book. I feel like I’m reading a teen soap opera in some ways. It’s nothing like the Cainsville Series, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I hope it picks up soon.

I took about three days off before picking this up again. I needed a break from the constant reading I’ve been doing lately. In no way does that mean this book is not interesting......it’s actually a great read!

This book started out with a bang within the first two pages! It’s been a great read so far, and there is a part of this section where something happens....I can’t say what it is without giving it away. Suffice to say, I have a twisted sense of humor, and what the main character did to this person was great.....and well-deserved. I cackled. That’s all I’ll say.

Once you can get passed the first 50 or so pages, the books starts to get a little more (but not more than halfway) interesting. I think it has taken a little too long to get to this point.

Yes, I’m actually reading a book by Stephanie Meyer. It’s not about glittery vampires, so that’s the plus. So far, it’s nothing out of the ordinary. It’s very “hum-ho” for lack of a more appropriate description. Time will tell if I continue to read this 500-plus-paged book.

I’ve only watched the movie, this is my first time reading the book. I forgot how funny it is. It just read another 80 pages since yesterday. It’s such a fun read!!

Made it to part two. Not really enjoying this book like I do some others.

Definitely not something I would normally read. It has its moments where it’s slightly amusing. “Hairless Christians” is one of my favorites of the book.
