Really wanted to like this one, but it’s slow going and the writing just keeps taking me out of the story.

Read the 1st chapter. Meh. 3rd person POV and just couldn’t get into that

Made it to chapter 9 and throwing in the towel. Not a bad book, just too drawn out for my liking and has caused me to lose interest. Will try picking it up between books to finish because, again, not a horrible book

Well, I’ve hit a reading funk.. nothing sounds interesting and everything Is just bleh.. 😩😩I don’t know what to do if I’m not reading. Please send help! 🖤🖤

Ok book.. but I’m struggling to really get into it. I don’t know if it’s because of the story, or if I’m in a book hangover, burnt out, or this book just isn’t up to the recommended expectations I was looking for.. I really tried to just keep going, but I’m putting it down for now and maybe try to pick it up again at another time 🤷‍♀️

I really wanted to enjoy this series, but I’m still so lost as to what is going on. It’s so discombobulated and nothing is clear.
