listening to the audiobook and i’m having insane realizations. hooks’ anecdotes are so relatable i see similar challenges cropping up with internalized patriarchy in my experiences dating men. if there already isn’t a companion workbook
i’m making one. can’t afford to go on without integrating these gems. 💎

Christin is on page 45 of 375 of Henhouse
i picked this up bc it’s written by Emily Prescott, a former teammate and classmate in high school. it’s her debut novel - love an empowered woman romcom so cute! love the setting in Portsmouth, NH, so nostalgic of my days at UNH. currently enjoying reading this over the harbor sunsets in eastie. excited to see how the story continues to unfold!

Vibrant imagery. The author transports me away from the current grayscale of Boston to the bright and saturated saris of Jaipur, India.

My mind is already blown. I’m highlighting every other paragraph 🤯

The thesis: ““Flow” will examine the process of achieving happiness through control over one’s life.”
